Program Overview
Under the Walker School of Education, Midland’s Master of Education program in Leadership, Teaching, and Learning is designed for full-time teachers who are ready to grow as educators in their school or district. Throughout the program, students will develop skills that they can take back to their classrooms immediately. This program and others in education provide authentic projects to engage students in relevant learning and enable them to use their current classroom experience to add to new learning.
Masters’ candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate. The Principal Endorsement Concentration, English as a Second Language Endorsement Concentration, and High Ability Learner Endorsement Concentration are Nebraska Department of Education approved programs. Depending on the chosen concentration, the Master of Education program consists of 36-45 credits in total, and courses must be passed with a B- or higher.
